i guess i should probably ask this to be sure. when setting up gear mesh on a slat gear do you mesh it the same as with a straight gear. or do i want it to be tighter or looser..

i have just a little bit of wiggle room as i normally would with a straight gear.

Great decision, a little patience and some acetone will take the foam residue off in no time. Hope you enjoy your 7hv the second time around.

did the official maiden today, cyclic felt so slow it was rediculous but looking at the video it was not slow at all , beast x loves the cyclone blades and somehow i got the beast x to piro as flat as the v bar does, not sure how i pulled that one off..

i was thinking about getting a v bar for this around Christmas but heck i think i am sticking with the beast x, she fly's perfect..

thanks all

i am running 80% throttle curve with yge gov. not sure what the head speed is, at 82% throttle it starts to get a good deal more aggressive.. i was really enjoying how smooth and easy going the thing flew at 80% throttle, i think i will keep it there and just enjoy the smooth flight, and do bigger smoother 3D with this thing and try to make my flights look pretty.

it was quite relaxing to fly it like that. very enjoyable.

Nice bird Danny!
I can see the slow cyclics from the movie, it sows quite well.
i even think that the mobius/snakes you perform were meant to be half piro flips

thanks.. somewhere in there when i pull the stick all the way back the cyclic was quick but its really slow around center stick... i did add twice as much expo as i usual do for some reason, i kind of like it like that except for it makes full piro flips and double piro flips a little harder because i have to move the stick more than usual.

i have not done half piro flips in i don't know how long. i think next time i am out i might do some of those..
