maybe i can get bob to video it after work. I just got back from flying it a second time. this is definetely hands down the best helicopter i've flown. I haven't had a chance to flip it, because i don't have any velcro to properley secure the battery, but i'll get some tonight so that i can really fly it. I love it. best investment i've made all year

Aaaarrrggghhhh, cannot wait for the reports about how this thing flies.
I really would love some feedback from normal guys flying this thing - what flight times, what power, how stable, how agile, how solid (or not), etc. etc.
Come on you guys - get the thing in the air and give us some really good reports - how does this compare to, say a raptor, or just to a normal Rex.
Also setups - seems like pretty soon a hell of a lot of us are going to be going this route - what batteries are you guys actually using?, servos, etc.
I know there are some threads out there but they are few and the info to date is scant - we need more feedback....

as far as setup,
I put the balls on the outer links of the mixing arms, and the arms are on the outer hold of the seesaw, i have the 3d dampeners that come in the kit, and everything else is just by the book.

as far as flight characteristics, if you want to compare it to a raptor, you might as well compare it to a shogun. Definetely feels more like a 90 than a 50 size electric. Haven't pushed the batteries. want to break them in. just two 3 minute flights so far. prob go up 30 sec, to a minute each flight from here on.

Come on bob, ur lagging here. Never got a heli done in a day? How long did it take you to build your humming bird? Andy, ian, marty, and i are going to be bashing ours around while you're still reading the instructions. But come on now, nick and i offered next day turn services for helis while we worked at dream.

i think it was like 1350 or something? can't remember now. That was just forward flight, figure 8's. nothing that would push the helicopter.

well, just got done with the 4th flight. gonna try and fly it as much as i can with one battery today. The thing is just awsome. there is absolutely positively no slop in my head. it rolls straight, cyclic is nice and fast for flips, and aerobatics, and this thing autos like crazy. it's got more reserve than my evo 50 w/torque tube

Frank please tell which battery type this is.... e.g. Align part # and size.

The big thing that I see helping the temps now is the air spaced cells.

BoneDoc..... I have videos of Andy Yu flying and Frank works for him. I can shoot vids of Frank (Frank you flying Monday?).

Next weekend I will have mine done and will fly it myself with vids. As more people get them that are HEAVY 3D flyers like Ian Crane, I will film them.
