dont aks me why, but plastic tailblade greeps just work better, I have replaced metal tailblade holders to plastic on every heli that I had own and it was a improvment. Alu tailbladeholders are only thing that I normaly see as a downgrade. Alu is nice but the plastic just work better on the tail. Probely because it demp more vibration.

Hey Fredrik,

I recall seeing a pic in another thread showing the securing of the rear of the canopy being possibly done by a pin and magnet deal. True?

The canopy has a lot of surface area for the airflow around it to push on, and for aggressive flying styles, the two halves of the rear of the canopy really need to be secured together, to keep the canopy from coming off the two rear grommet mounts in fast backwards flight etc.

For a long time we just used tape, and then eventually installed strong magnets, which works fine.

Believe it or not, at one point Mikado considered using a zipper to connect the two canopy halves together (-:

That's a big plus.. I know a lot of folks were having problem with their canopy opening during flight.
