Default GY611 added functionality on 14MZ Radio- Trex 600

I read somewhere - perhaps the Futaba 14mz site that the GY611 when used with the 14MZ has added functionality - ie you can manipulate something on the 14MZ or the 14MZ (prob 12Z as well) has a feature/function for the 611? Wondering if FIN or anyone else knows that this is?

Well kind of unless there is something I have not heard yet.
The 14MZ gives you 3 gyro modes that work with the 3 modes in the 611 NOR, AVCS, and CMT. CMT actually allows you to switch between AVCS and NOR (rate) mode properly. Basically you can have 3 point gain/mode adjustment.
Nothing special really as with creative programming on end points and switches even a JR radio can switch the modes.

Gotcha- I just remember when I was reading on the Futaba site the difference between the 601 and 611... one thing mentioned was some functionality when paired with a 14MZ.
