Tower sucked anyway. Worst shipping ever especially since you had to pay extra for it most the time.

It's crazy that lots of vendors carry the e700 but not the parts.

Given the release date is wrong, December 15 ,2015, I wonder if it is genuine.

Well, the body of the letter says effective Dec 31 2014 so, must be right and just a typo on the header. Also, TowerHobbies just announced a closeout sale on TT products.

Very simple, either HBP gets it together on the upper end of the TT line or we're screwed. There's a poster one of these threads explaining how you can order direct from overseas.

We don't know the root cause of this situation. It could be a tower thing or a TT thing.

TT could be in trouble, no doubt. Plenty of things to be worried about there, such as discontinuing models.

Unlike the ReadHeli/Mikado thing, I don't see an enterprising equivalent to Mikado USA waiting in the wings.

I'd be curious to hear if there have been issues in the UK or elsewhere, which might indicate whether it's likely a Tower thing.

HBP very clearly states on its site that dealers must have brick-and-mortar presence. If that doesn't change, I don't think they're going to be really serious about moving TT product.

I got my e700 to replace my M.A s as i couldnt get parts for them. I wont be happy if 2 months into my rappy i cant get parts for it either.
its getting hard to find a manufacturer with a stable parts supply. might have to look at align, as much as i swore id never go there again.

HRP is the new distributor and they have all the TT E700V2 parts and kits listed and all are inbound. I was able to order all the parts and kits for stock in the shop already .I am glad to see the TT line back in good hands . They have the full line with the new quads ,cars and everything else. Nothing to worry about

Anybody who can reconcile the above two posts, please chime in.

Dennis, maybe post if they notify you of shipping---or of backorder surprise.

HRP does direct mailorder? Dennis, you happen to be a dealer?

Thanks

to order from hpr you can go to there website add everything to your basket then print out the basket and take it to your local hrp dealer, and they order it.

also I remember when ace was the distributor, and i ordered all my raptor parts from heliproz, this setup will work much the same, experience rc, amain, etc, will order from hrp and we will order from them.

HRP is probably buying all hobbico's left over stock after the new year then getting stock from TT. also they might not be able to sell TT till after the new year (contracts), HRP only has a few things in stock now but they have a lot of parts listed.

This is just the second day of us knowing about this, it may take a few weeks things to get stocked and set-up

Thanks for that; it's the first word from HRP I have seen.

Taking a sheet to the LHS, while one option, and OK for the LHS, is really a step backwards for me.

It might mean that I won't part out my E700 and move the gear to another model, but I woudn't be inclined to double-down nor recommend the product under that structure.

Now, maybe if they come out supporting the G4 and I make the Nitro jump, that could be different.
