Default Help setting up Turnigy 9X TX with FM for off/on/position hold

Does anyone here have experience with setting up the Turnigy 9X TX switch to be able to turn my FM from off...to one...to position hold?

I have tried and failed. Apparently I need my hand held and a walkthgrough of the procedure (pretend I am a very small child lol)

Thanks in advance!

You don't need to do anything to FM programming wise. All you need is to plug the Blue wire into a spare channel in the RX which corresponds to a three way switch or slider on the tx and program the end points for -70, 0, +70 for example where the neg value will be balance mod, zer will be off and positive will be position mod. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.
Does anyone here know the specifics of assigning the three way switch (marked AUX 2) on the Turnigy 9X TX?

Sorry...the three-way switch on the 9X tx is marked "AUX 3", not AUX2

so looking for the way to assign the FM function to that switch

I don't think you can program the 3 way for flymentor functions with the standard firmware but I know you can assign one of the rotary pots to do the job.. Is this the standard 9x firmware or the er9x firmware on your transmitter? I no longer have my 9x but I think it's in the AUX settting, assign one of the pots to the channel that controls the flymentor gain. It's not a great solution but it works.

Thanks...I think for now I am leaving the blue and green disconnected (Flymentor always on) until I get it sorted out.
I'll adjust gyro setting and stabilization setting through my Flymentor Program card
