I've been having the same dilemma lately. Some things I've come up with: the mini has telemetry features which allow you to see what the heli is doing in the air(battery charge, air speed, ect.) which is a pretty advanced feature for your first cp heli, plus you need to spend the extra to get a tx that supports it and make sure your firmware is updated. The super cp also has a more updated receiver and a better motor that will give you slightly longer flight times. I am pretty much looking for a heli I can fly indoors, since I already own a v400d02 for outdoors, so for me the choice is the super cp. less money but all the features you're gonna need for your first cp heli. I personally have been looking at the one from ehirobo.com that comes with a metal head. Seems like a good investment for something that will prolly see a lot of crashes in its life. That's all I can think of right now.

Thanks, for the info, I guess they will both perform about the same, with regards to flight stability and ease of learning right?
Parts are about the same price, what will a break so I order them ahead of time?.

Anymore thought from anyone, I want to purchase pretty soon?
Thanks

genius cp is good for beginners. the six axis gyro makes it very stable. and you can switch it off for fast 3d indoors

Servos are cheaper on the Super. That is what made me go to it. Just a few bucks, but every bit helps.

3-Don't bought the Mini CP, receiver unit burn very often and motor draw too much, it fly for only 4min. Unit are older version unsold.

2-Super CP is newer, much much better, got many improvment, motor is one of it. Everyone love it here

1-Genius CP V2 is adorable with 6-axis gyro, Its also cost more.

Any one you bought please run the motor into the water for couple of minutes, it help a lot and keep a flat throttle curve these little motor dont like rpm changes

We ran any new brushed engine into the water, that shape the brush on the collector. But you need to take it off. In Tamiya race stock-class we where doing this and I do the same on my Super CP with great result.

I bought many part for the Super CP, some off them are useless :
-I bought too much main blade 5 pair and their still in their bags, on grass their indestructible
-feathering shaft also never use my spair
-I broke lot of tailboom, bought some complete unit with engine 8$
-I broke 6 servo BEFORE doing the servo saver mod very easy and best thing I ever do cause
they are not expensive but take long to replace and re-ajust (you can find the mod easily on the web) also you can now find the servo gear part for 1-2$.

Honestly if you're capable of installing deviation on a devo transmitter, I'd get a devo tx and a nano cp. I bought a mini cp as my first heli and it has had nothing but problems since. I've heard nothing but good about the nano cp.
