By the time you are comfortable with that the next logical step would be a fixed pitch single rotor heli.

You have a few good options, the easiest to fly would be an msr or120 sr because of the flybar, then there's the msrx, it's a flybarless heli so it's a little more difficult to fly.

Some people skip that step and go right to collective pitch, all depends on your confidence I guess..
Can I skip the fixed pitched heli and go to the collective pitch if I have the simulator ?

My first heli was an mcpx, if you don't count the 20 dollar 3 channel from jc penny..lol

It's quite a learning curve and in retrospect I think I would have been better off starting with the msr, but it was a fun ride any way.

I eventually got an msr after already learning how to fly the mcpx , I love flying my msr around in the house, I ''try'' to keep the mcpx outdoors only.

The world wont end either way, you will learn and crash and fix and learn and crash and fix

IF IT CAN'T BE FIXED WITH DENTAL FLOSS, THEN IT CAN'T BE FIXED..LOL

So if I have the simulator do you think it's possible I skip the fitched pitch heli and jump to the collective pitch heli? :

It certainly is possible. You would perhaps like to slow it down a bit when you're learning the most basic orientation like upright nose-in but if you are meticulous, careful and have the patience, it's very well doable.
