160 Opto on vbar gov, 704A Firmware
Who is flying this setup and what are your experiences so far.

We have got it on one of our 700s and it works awesome. You will have to work with the collective and cyclic add to get it perfect but it will hold better than anything else once you get it set

It has flown a bunch collective add is in the 60 to 70 range and the cyclic is in the 40 to 50 range

It performed great this weekend at the Austi Helifest. I am at a gov gain of 20 and do have a little overspeeding. What gov gain are you running? This esc has soo much more punch I need to re optimize the tail and work on precomps. Very pleased with the power. Fan kept things cool as well

I have run the same set up as ryan. Last I checked I was at 40 for gain. Ryan was at 43. Both on a Rush on 750's.
This set up is awesome however I am not good enough at tuning so I had to turn of the gov because it was messing with may tail a lot. |

That's a very high gain. I am at 18 gov gain in Vbar and it is off the hook good! 20 flights now no issues.

Different motors and setups might take a lower gain. One of our rushes has a bunch lower gain than the other one. I wouldn't worry too much about it other than run it high enough that the motor is on the edge of chirping and back it off a little.

It's an absolute beast and smooooooth!!
Overall gain = 18 Collective/Cyclic adds = 35 Collective dynamic = 0 (off) Throttle response .15 Auto timing Current limiting insensitive 4525-520 Ult 9.09 gear ratio 2050-2150-2250

Hi .. same setup here for my X7;
160a OPTO 4525-520 ult Vbar silver X8 MKS servo wanne go 2S lipo direct to Vbar and Ultra guard 430 for back up but can i connect the RPM cable from the esc direct to the Vbar ? or do i need the OPTO cable? some say i have to double check |
