HW Platinum 100A ESC help/advice - reprogram?

I have a HW Platinum 100A ESC and the programming card. I use a Hyperion phase sensor and a Castle pro BEC. I am using a full size vbar blue series. Since I am using an external BEC, I removed and bent back the red lead on the throttle wire going to the vbar. All has been working well for 150+ flights.

I have an Align 550E v2. I swapped out the stock 1220kV motor and replaced with a KDE 1100kV motor and new gearing.

I know I need to redo the Gov 2 page settings in the vbar and the high/low sliders. In the ESC, I need to change the timing and the PWM rate. Do I need to recalibrate ESC? since the radio is not changed?

It's been a while and I had trouble with this before...How do I power the programming card? If I recall correctly, I need a 2S lipo with "servo" plug - yes?

I would recalibrate the esc if it's going through a different fbl or receiver. You should be able to power up the card with a receiver pack but I always stick program. I would be careful with that KDE motor. It is recommended to get a 120 because it's amp hungry.

Only thing changed is the PWM rate with the new motor. Since transmitter and vbar are unchanged, the stick endpoints should not matter...yes?

You are right. Just change the pwm, timing for this motor. Let us know how it holds up with this motor. I know the kontronics 100lv cuts out with it. My buddy just bought a 120 yge for his agile 5.5.
