solder the motor wires directly to the esc. You will get a better connection. You may have to switch 2 wires if the rotor runs backwards. It is a flip of a coin.

I have a pjacq kit ordered as of this morning and can't wait to try it. I hope the stock lipos do okay on it because I have six of them.

I've been happy with my stock lipos performance with this kit.

Great! pjacq said they worked and that's one reason he prefers the milder kit.

My flying skills have grown by leaps and bounds on the 450 since I got the Nano.

I learned on the Nano first to do a figure 8s half upright and half inverted with a side flip in the middle you know. Once I got the sticks down on the Nano it was even easier on the more powerful, stable FBL 450. Also learned backwards and forwards inverted figure 8s and tight inverted circles as well. And also did my first right rudder half piro flips on the Nano. And I can't forget nose in upright circles.

Its a good practice to do circles in all orientations upright and inverted and I have practiced all that stuff on sim countless hours.

Default Batteries

In a lot of the pictures posted here it looks like they are using the mCPX skids with a larger battery. Anyone confirm this??? mCPX skid with a 300mAh battery???

Default WOW, this is me!!...

I love my nano cpx, and this looks to be the perfect kit for simplicity of install...

How does it perform with the stock tail motor? Or should it be paired with the brushless tail? I would prefer an inrunner tail if anyone has any thoughts of what could be used.

Any vids of it installed and flying yet?

This is a great kit. The frame spacers are awesome and really stiffen up the frame after cutting out the support for the motor. I like the fact that you can reuse the kit on a new frame later too. No glue.

finally got around to installing mine. I did airtime skids, lynx swash, and some MH blade grips at the same time. I already had made a solid tail boom. This thing is flying rock solid now. I just need to get some better batteries with a bit better discharge rate now.

Question esc connectors

Has anyone kept the connectors on for this mod?

Looking at my kit there doesn't seem to be the room to keep them on but would be convenient I would think.??

WOW these are small. The build pics make everything look manageable.

Nervous for that fet connector

I started with mine on, but like you say the battery wouldn't slide in so I went straight to the board.

I got lucky on the fet front and back ;-)

Well my pj kit didn't come today. I can't wait to get it and get it installed. My Nano is not worth flying right now with its weakened main motor. 2 minutes of mediocracy is not worth charging 6 lipos individually. I also have the right parallel cable ordered for it too, I mistakenly thought the MCPX parallel cable would work but the connectors are too large.

My kit came today and I have everything ready but the signal wire. I can't tell exactly where pjacq soldered it into the board from his video. Does anyone have a really good blown up
pic of it?
