Default IndyHelis-Going Out of Buisness Announcement

A Letter to Our Loyal Customers and Friends. Due to a long series of unfortunate circumstances, It is with deep regret that we must announce that IndyHelis is going out of business for the time being.

Having been in business since 2005 we wanted to take the time to thank all our loyal customers and friends. We want to thank everyone for your past business and tell you how much we have enjoyed working on the "other" side of the fence as a supplier. We have enjoyed our time as a vendor, but it is now time to move on. Manufacturing has been a part time endeavor for us as we all have regular day jobs and family time that require a lot of time. Also many of our suppliers have continually increased pricing for machining, materials, shipping, laser cutting, tempering, etc, just making things harder and harder for "part timer's" to stay in business and still have "fun". We have decided to focus on other projects and family, life etc. We have enjoyed everyone's support and well wishes throughout the past few years.

In order to continue to service current (and new) customers we are pleased to announce that long time friend and fellow modeler Darrell Sprayberry has taken over possession of our molds, tooling and inventory of parts. He will continue to manufacture entire complete kits. Darrell Sprayberry's website is at http://uniqueaircraft.com/ and I believe will be rolling out a new site soon. We are retaining the IndyHelis name and domain for future use if needed. However the IndyHelis website will be coming down very shortly.

Any other shop (name withheld for now) currently advertising our products that refuse to answer our emails and refuse to remove our product advertisements is not selling authentic IndyHelis products. They could be selling knockoff's of lesser quality so beware.

We wanted to take the time to thank you for being a loyal customers. We want to thank you for your past business and tell you how much we have enjoyed being a supplier in a hobby we love. We look forward to more flight time and good times with everyone now at the next fun fly!

Unfortunately I am not at the stage, where I could use your products with ease. I'm still evolving...

I have followed the build of your products by others and I was amazed.... the skill of the builders is one thing,.... but the superb kits are the other...

so thank you for all you have done for the hobby...

So sorry to hear this. Although I was not yet a customer, I have a deep appreciation for the quality of your kits. Glad to hear you are holding on to the Indy-Helis brand, and hope to see you back one day in the not too distant future. Good luck to you all.

So sad to hear. The youtube vid of the 1/7 Apache is what got me into heli's to begin with. Hope to see you all back in business someday soon. While my skills have finally evolved to the point I can fly scale (very well if I do say so myself), I just couldnt scratch together the funds in time to buy one. I'll keep saving in optimistic anticipation
Good Luck on your future endeavors, the commitment and quality Indy has shown in thier kits is sure to translate into whatever you guys do next

Well I believe Darrell was the best person you could have picked to carry on the production of your Apache. He is a great guy and very talented.

Best of luck to you guys in the future!
