Default Airwolf Trex 500 Size Afterburners ?

Just wondered whether any one can help me achieve an afterburner effect from my trex 500 airwolf.......I think i would need a led afterburner strip which i could cut down to roll around the inside of the thrust ducts on the airwolf model which is only 10mm in diameter so a fixed afterburner ring is not an option as i can't find a micro size ring that would fit into such a small space...... Any help, ideas or web links would be much appreciated....... You can see from this you tube link what I've achieved so far it has sounds and lights but the afterburner would be another plus point.......I need it to be powered by existing circuitry ie a y lead on the throttle cable and a fixed power source from an aux channel

Something like this may suit your needs....

Flite Test - F-18 LED Afterburners - FLITE TIP (2 min 43 sec)

Just had another line of thought....... If I joined 4-5 of these flicker bulbs together as a cluster and repeated for both sides then connected them to a servo splitter which I already have installed could this work ? So it would be on all the time but the effect could work ?

Or I have seen a seller from the USA who sells 5mm ultrabright flickering candle led's on a certain auction wesite that again might well be worth soldering 5 together to see if that works ?
