Ace One rudder drifting on ground?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is normal (seems like it shouldn't be)
when I initialise my heli the rudder drifts from centre to full nose right deflection within a fairly short period of time (happens whether the motor is running or not so not vibe related). Any idea why it is doing this? One thing I find a bit bizarre is that the lowly Naza gives you tools to see what the IMU is seeing and to re-calibrate it but the Ace One doesn't as far as I can tell which makes it a bit harder to rule out the IMU.

Zee flyboy
you may be experience noise (interference) hat is causing the tail to move. I had a similar problem on my Align unit, to solve it was a case of moving wires around so they did not run past the motor, also I added sheilding (tin foil) around the cables to the tail servo, cannot say which thing I did worked, but the problem stopped. hope this has helped. Make sure there's no trim in the rudder controls in your radio, manual or subtrim.
What tail servo are you using? Did you select the correct freq in the assistant program? Is it a new servo or an old used one?

Plus 1 for above.... also your tail gains may be to high. Mine did the same on my Jet Ranger and I reduced the gain until it stopped.. The gain may be lower then you would think.. but as long as you have HH.. go with itr...
