I'm in the same boat - I have to wait for mine to ship from Cali. If I just wasn't so dang practical!

But, it sure will be nice to know it's actually out!

Did that with the 450X while drooling over the ones in the LHS that got there on release day. Learned my lesson. Getting it from the LHS this time.

I hope they dont just move the date on you guys....seems hh has.that habit. I know.the Scout is way low on hhs priority list but it illustrates an example.of what I have come to expect from hh. In January they said the upper blades would be available mid february....when feb arrived they changed to end of feb...when that came and passed they said mid.march.....then end of march....now mid april....in other words always one mnth from where you are currently at...lol.

I have not even flown cp yet so they are probably just waiting for me to catch up first.

I don't think this will be the case - it 'appears' that it's ready to roll - there are probably piles of them in boxes already on the way if you consider 3 weeks shipping from china.

It's totally part of the fun!

Summer of 2011 I flew like 3 times max due to buying a new house, selling my old house, and moving. I'm hoping I can get back in to the swing of things and the 300 X is my ticket to all that heli fun I have been missing. Easy, relatively-care-free-flying - w00t!

As best as we can tell, it's going to be the 16th, yeah.

A few people have mentioned that HH has stated this via phone calls, but I'm not sure that it's posted on the site, etc.

Jay, I think you need to change the title of this thread to "Is it May yet?"

I'm with ya on that one...buying another mCPX will give me something to do until the weather gets better here to fly the 450s. I'll order another version 2 (for a total of 4 mCPXs) and some simple hop-ups. May try to tune the V200D03 but with only one Lipo...probably not; really not diggin the 'one beep' count-down alarm on the DEVO8 transmitter.

I'm still curious about the Thursday announcement however

How is the V200D03? I was going to get one but my LHS would not support the little bugger. I heard nothing but good when I asked in the Walkera forum. $400 RTF and comes with upgraded parts. Seems like a bargain. It's the kind of thing that makes me wish the LHS was not so HH devoted. All align and Blade But the support is good through HH with either of those models. I haven't had the need to use it as of yet though.

What's up litehawkdown! It's a decent Heli and if you checkout alishanmao's YouTube video's with it, you'll see that it's capable of stable 3D and Sport flying. However, IMO, this thing's a tank compaired to my CopterX 250 and it's VERY touchy about Center-of-Gravity. The stock Lipo is a 800mAh/35C and WowHobbies.com just got them in stock but it was a long time before it did. I did try another 850mAh/25C Lipo with the t-connector adapter but the weight difference of the two Lipo's upset the heck out of the RX2618V-D receiver. Plus, I'm really not a fan of the DEVO8 transmitter anymore; not since I've been flying with the Spektrum DX8. A touch-screen transmitter doesn't make it better although the sticks move smoother than the WK2801Pro transmitter sticks. Parts support for the V200D03 would be online through WowHobbies.com or Helipal.com.

Honestly though, I feel like Walkera released this Heli just to release a 250 sized Heli. Parts support took over five months before spares listed on the website and just very recently, OEM Walkera Lipo's have come into stock.

It's well built and will probably take a crash or two. Stable enough that I've hovered it in my small room and if you wanted too, it could probably be modded with a different receiver and servo's...but for me, it's not worth it to pursue and that's why I wanted the 300 X.
