Are these your carbon frames, or the ones that were reviewed in this forum already? Or are those yours too?

Corrado will you be looking at an SE package once these CF frames and all the new grips for various blades and all new parts are available that have been improved?

All improvements are in the kits now.
we are working on the mold for 10mm blade grips and will be ready in a month or so. CF Frame december/january. ESC december/january.

We will have a carbon kit in the first quarter of 2009.

Conversions kit to carbon will be available before the carbon kit.

Some pics, we didn't want to show them yet but they leaked out at the last funfly we had so.......enjoy

Plastic parts are still fast prototyping so they don't have a nice finish.

All hex screws have brass inserts just like in the servo frame.

We will release CF frame kit in January.

Same weight as plastic frame (maybe 2-3 grams less).

Kit will include:

2 - CF (or G10) side Frames
1 - Plastic battery tray
1 - Plastic lower plate
1 - Plastic third beairing support
1 - All screws needed for the conversion

DO NOT KNOW PRICE YET BUT WILL BE PRICED COMPETITIVELY AS ALL OUR PRODUCTS.

It looks like the CF frames add a little more protection to the ESC. Is that something that was given consideration? I love the clean, low cost plastic frames but to do not like my $250.00 ESC sticking out unprotected.

Corrado,

I found there is a serious binding issue of mixing arm at the lowest pitch (-12 degree) with 8 degree cyclic

And now I need to inverse the ball inside out to solve the binding issue

Wow! Something doesn't look right, there. Even with +/-12 and 10 deg cyclic and link lengths set per manual with calipers, I did not have the problem your pic shows. I would recheck things... then (what I did) close the smallest links all the way together and adjust the long ones accordingly. Use a good pitch gage and be sure you are using it properly. It is important to have the swash and servo arms level at mid stick, of course, then be sure +pitch is the same as -pitch.

MSH runs 13/13 and 10 degrees without flipping the ball outward. One more thing to note: You should never need to put the stick in an extreme corner anyway--that wouldn't be good (21-23 deg) even if there is a bit of binding! I do have a slight bit of binding, but not as bad as your pic seems to show. Maybe you have more pitch than you think?

Are you also pushing down the swashplate to -12 degree and at the same time push elev. to 10degree? Is the flybar free to move?

If you move the flybar that parallel to the swashplate at -12degree collective and 8degree elev., you will find the binding I mentioned above

I never see my flybar get to that position in flight.
