I don't think I would be able to see my heli at that height. But doesn't the shape look like the Goblin canopies, and now the Align.

Align has turned in to the "Apple" of heli kits; they release a new kit every 6 months with glitz and glam but true advancements are far between. If you're just getting in to a new Heli, then sure, you have options. Tons of them. But the best example of how I have a bad taste in my mouth is the way they milked the "450" line. From the V1 to V2 to DFC, DFC, etc. until they hit the 450 Dominator. Seriously, they milked that line dry but they're still taking stabs at it.

Hence why I'm looking at other brands for my next 500 size heli.

For me, 500 speed fuselage looks percet. Looking forward to purchase it for my 500pro as soon as they release it. I fly 500 3d and I think fuse will give better tail orientation.
I dont think it will give much weight, maybe additional 50 grams to the tail.

The fuselage for the 700 weighed just over a pound.

I don't think this is a lightweight addition. Someone mentioned that this setup is for the FC3 crowd where 3D isn't performed (and additional weight wouldn't matter as much).

Align is marketing to anyone they can get to buy it. They don't care if you fly 3D, speed, or F3C. They just want to sell more parts... and they will
