Default Logo 700 swash ceased!!!!

Watch out guys, I did a research and only a handful of owners had this problem. Mine is ceased, tried using different oils, the swash is still tight (black plastic around the swash ball).
This resulting in my BLS255 to spoil. Hopefully I am under warranty on the Futaba servos as I got it less than a year ago.

I'm assuming English is not your first language but it is "seized" not "ceased".

This problem has been mentioned more than once over the last almost two years since the 800Xx was released. The 700Xx has the same swash. When I hear the swash has seized I think the bearing has locked but a tight ball is something different. I would have though a 10.6kg/cm 255 servo was up to the task.

I use silicon spray and just spray a small amount on the swash, shaft, belt and anything else that moves. It doesn't attract too much dust and does the job.

You are right, English isn't my first language.

It's disappointing to have this problem on the most expensive 700 size helis out in the market.

Is the issue around the swash ball too tight that makes tilting the swash difficult or impossible? Or the bearing in the swash base completely seized that prevents the head to move?

For the former, remove the four screws on top of the swash. You will be able to remove the ball and the black plastic. Remove the metal ball and clean the plastic really good. Reassemble them together, the swash should back to normal (a bit tight when new).
Mine was really tight and took a lot of effort to title the swash. Read it on a thread here (couldn't find it) that the swash absorbs some oils and becomes swell. It work fine now after I clean the lubricant (tri-flow) from the ball and plastic.

For the later, you have no choice but getting a new one. Hope this is not the case.

the swash ball is too tight, I sprayed some RP7 lubricant still tight right now. I can't get Tri-Flow oils here...

Sorry to miss lead you. Don't use any oil. Clean all the oil completely and it should be better.

BenBen, I think this is the only choice I have since the 'fish eye' is too tight around the ball.
