DITTO that Jack. Timmy finally "gets her done" after several 2nd place finishes.
He is a very happy fellow from what I can tell talking to him Sunday night.

I had the opportunity to see Dr. Tim's Puma in action at IRCHA and, it took first place there as well. For those of you who have not seen it "up close and personal," Dr. Tim's Puma is one of the "featured" aircraft in the latest issue of Model Helicopter World. Very indepth article on Dr. Tim's aircraft, I might add.

I hope to meet the scale group, and others as well, at IRCHA next year. I think I'm ready to get my feet wet on my first scale ship. Congratulations to Dr. Tim on his Nats win. That has to be gratifying after all the work that goes into it.

Not to correct you title Heli-Jack, but this is the 1st Nats Champ for Dr. Tim.. Peter Wales won it the last 3 years in a row and Joe Howard and Bob Bellumi twice before him.. Congrats Tim!

RB17,
You sound most knowledgeable in the heli scale field. Would most certainly enjoy speaking with you on what we all can to to encourage more participation and your thoughts on combining the Nats with IRCHA next year. I lay no claim to being an "expert," just someone who wants to dig in, help, participate and encourage more folks to get into the scale end of heli's. wolfdad sends.... |
