It has been in the kit since it was created, look on page 16, toward the top shows the position of it being installed

Its not that. I was going to do the mod that you recommended to someone on here, by installing a flange bearing in the bell crank.

I looked at another Velocity today that was bought a month ago, and it already has this? Yet the manuals dont show it as far as I can see.

They used the same part number and simply replaced the radial bearing with a flange bearing and kept the part number the same. that is how they are shipping them now.

If you want to replace your old radial bearing with a flange bearing, it is the same bearing that goes in the frame for the elev control rod, a 3x7x3

side note, whomever is doing the manuals should VERSION them. there is no place in the manual where you get any idea as to which version of the manual you're looking at.

Cheers Clyde

The actual section where the bearings fit, is also 2mm thinner than the one I have in front of me too..

Old batch 7.5mm
New batch 5.5mm

The manual for the 550, and Vel 50 haven't changed, I think what will most likely happen is a single addendum sheet for any new "major changes" haven't spoken much to Charley about that cause he has been very busy with the 90
