Default V1 Frame Broken. Upgrade to V2?

My HBFP V1s frame is broken beyond repair. I can't CA it back together.

I noticed the frame/skids on the V2 look much better built. What parts will I need to convert my V1 to V2. I already have a DD tail.

I currently have a 2s setup and 10T. Would this work with the new frame?

Thanks

I know the V2 is setup for 3s..and i think the frame is a bit different..little heavier and beefier...also think it takes a different mainshaft and main gear..think you may need to do a full conversion and can't just swtich the frame...not sure..hopefully someone else will chime in...

Hi Awais
If you want to convert your V1 to V2, this thread should answer your questions.

2s setup would work, but do to the extra weight of the V2 airframe it will feel very sluggish and underpowered. It would be best to convert to 3s and this thread will show you how to do this.

Doing the conversion really isn’t that hard, but if you decide to just stay with the V1 frame, then check out Xheli. As they still has the V1 main frame assembly is stock and its only $4.75 US.

Thanks for info. I'll read more about the upgrade and decide if I want a V2 or stick with V1.
