yep, definitely! 6HV works well with the SK720 gov (using HW 70A HV). Now looking for a good ESC with external gov to use on the 7HV (with SK720 of course!). starting to like the idea of the new Scorpion 130A ESC...

Thats what's left of my YGE120HV, 1st time spool up and fireworks, 15" from my face Had it sat on the work bench.

Its gone back for replacement, and when it comes back i will set it up loose on the heli just in case. Trying to rip a esc off a heli when its on fire and its stuck down with the leads zip tied isn't easy

Hows the new Scorp working with VB Gov?
What kind of flight time do you get with the 4000's? I've been thinking of some lighter packs after Sebastian's Light Setup post.

The esc is working great with the vbar gov. No problems at all. Plug and play really. Right now I'm using a regular servo cable extender to give me the signal as I forgot to order the opto-cable. You just unplug the red cable coming out of the port when using this kind of cable. Programming the esc is very simple with the remote.

As for packs. Yes, you do notice that the heli is lighter. For smack it's great. For cruising around and flying larger maneuvers I don't think it is that noticeable. The weight difference between the 4000 and 5100 packs I use is about 300 grams in total. It also makes my 700MX feel a BIT more powerful than with the heavier packs.

Depending on my mood, I get from close to 4 minutes to about 4.30 with this setup at 2150rpm.

Default compass 7HV

Hello at all, sorry for my english. I'm from Italy. I have a 6hv and I'm thinking for a 7HV.

My first (economic) configuration will be:
Scorpion 4035-560
Esc HW 100A HV
Bec CC Pro 6V
3 x DS610
1 x DS650
Microbeast
Turnigy 4000 6s x 2 (from my X5)

What do you think?

I love painting canopy, and I buy unpainted canopy from Fusuno, but I can't find unpainted canopy for 7hv. Someone has checked other canopy as t rex 700 on this model?
I know my crash, and I prefer an economic canopy...

Thank you!
