What kind of range can you expect from a 500mw system in a fairly open area in the 1280 ghz ? also what range on the 25mw systems 1280 also. Thanks

depends on the receiver antenna and the type of tx antenna your using
if your not tracking and want range I would go pepper box for the receiver can use iven if you are tracking

for the TX I would use mushroom
