Default decent heat shrink

I am looking for some better heat shrink. I bought some stuff on Amazon. It is ok but seems to shrink a lot in length as well as diameter. Just wondering what others are using and if you have an issue with shrinking in the length direction.

The stuff I have is 64mm flat or 128mm full perimeter so something like 40 or 41mm in diameter (1.6 inches so maybe 1.5 inch diameter stuff would also work).

I went to a local Electrical Supply company and bought my shrink. It's definitely a lot better, but it's hard to get small gauge shrink.

by small gauge, you mean thin? So your stuff is thick?

I've been using this stuff from HF. I like it because it stays put. Sometimes the non glue backed shrink tube can slide. It really works nice for the ends of braided wire loom.

Thanks for the post but that stuff is nowhere near big enough. I need at least 1.5" diameter as I posted. I have plenty of smaller stuff from various places including Home deport and ProgressiveRC.

I did find what I needed on DigiKey: 1.5" dia and comes in 6" lengths.
