Got my 700e Super Combo in today, but kinnda disappointed in the kit, first off, The box and Combo clearly show's the kit including the Blue/white canopy, well my kit come's with the old original canopy. It did come with the new MX motor and carbon servo linkage's. Align need's to find a better way to ship the canopys in the kit beside stuffing a bunch of parts and towel inside and a crappy piece of foam wrap..I mean thats alot of money lol

KX018E01 KX018E04 KX018E05 are the current model numbers for the white canopy kits. Is your's a new kit or maybe a mixed kit. A vendor could have swapped the canopy, who knows. The orange canopy is easier to see than the white.

I hear ya on the canopy packaging! Mine was cracked and dented from packaging and was replaced by the US distributor. It was the white canopy.

What ever you do DO NOT!!!!! use the motor it shook my heli so bad it broke most of the elec boards, had the same problen when I ordered mine and still got the 700M, made 2 flights and it crapped out. Get the Scorpion 630 xl. so smooth you can crank it up in the palm of your hand! Got mine down to .02 to .03 on the skookum scale. PM me if you need any info!

C'mon, the MX is fine. Mine worked flawlessly right out of the box. Strap her on and fly!

Disagree on the MX, nothing wrong with it.

What headspeed and pinion are you running on Scorp. 4035-630? KV seems like about 100 too high?

The MX motor is fine. Although I do agree that there are bad motors. The quality control should be pretty good compare to the old "M".

No... the package is a very good motor and goods all in a very well engineered helo set at a very good price point.

And no one is forcing you to buy it. Go buy something else if you don't like it.

I hear you. I'm just not a fan of these all inclusive kits. They should offer the airframe alone and you know it.

Many retailers do offer bare bones kits. I have to agree Align should offer a bare bones kit of each helo they sell.

You might be thinking of the original kit M motors that had major issues.
How does she fly with the 630? Does it run hot?

To the op was your align security seal broken or cut before you opened the box?

Too many canopies coming with problems inside the kits (mine also); I bet they put the less than perfect ones in the kits since it's unlikely ppl will exchange the whole kit because of a warped canopy...

I purchased 2 separate Align canopies and they came perfect.

I also agree that a barebones airframe ought to be available from Align.

Still the combos are a good deal and the 700 rocks!

i know grandrc.com will sell a "bare bone kit" for about $674.95 just got one the other day. all you need to do is eliminate everything you don't want. add the fbl and 700e latest version and your done. nice bird by the way, cant wait to get her flying
