Default X50 flybarless+Novarossi 57

I just got this Helicopter and so far build are very nice. When it was time to put on the Novarossi 57, it would not fit. Was wondering if anyone here has same problem and how did you go around doing it. seems like the head on the Novarossi a bit longer

Oh this is very helpful for me as when my time for upgrade came i would want Novarossi 57. Can this be somehow worked out to get the engine in? Or can you make photos of what is wrong (if it can be captured)?

Default Titan x50+novarossi57

This is what i did, i shave off about 1mm on the main frame from the crew that holds the cooling fan casing to the bracket that holds the landing skid. it was still a tigh fit but it works.
Hope being this tight won't cause more vabration since the cooling fan casing will be rubbing agains the Novarossi cooling head.

I don't think it will vibrate any more than any other engine head........the shroud might start to melt though

I think the worst case scenario is that vibrations will destroy the fan shroud. After all engine heatsink is not supposed to rest there so vibrations will make it rub against the shroud. Other than that i don't think it will vibrate more (the whole heli).
