Default Well, that went well!!!

It was a beautiful day today so I took my 300x out for first flight, which didn't take long due to my getting cocky on my second battery and trying some pitch pumps, well, a snapped shaft caused by unplanned ground contact meant I had some time on my hands.
I have not soldered anything in 2 decades and was a little intimidated about the AD mild kit that I had waiting, but since I had "extra" time in my day,,,,.
It took quite some time, and there will be no beauty prize, And only a couple of F-bombs were uttered, and of course the motor turned the wrong way . BUT SUCCESS WAS HAD. Boy am I thrilled with the kit also. I am still very much a noob but it will be nice to not have to worry about changing motors, (I was on my fifth). Nice steady power through a whole battery (180 hyperions) and since my tail boom was cracked I put on an MCXP tail which is making my slow hovering piros alot easier.
Great kit Dylan, and many thanx
Matthew

Sorry to hear about the 300X, but congrats on the Nano kit...

I have a Mild Dbl Bl kit on one of My Nano's too, done by MegaStumbler
All I've done differently is add a Lynx 42mm tail rotor, but today I ordered some 47mm KBDD's to try as well

Just out of curiosity, what are you running for Throttle and pitch curves?

My pitch curves are the ones Blade suggested for dx6i. Throttle curves are 0,68,68,68,68 on normal and straight 75 for IU

Ok great...that's almost exactly what I am running...

N - 0-70-70-70-70 and IU - 75 flat

Pitch is 0-25-50-75-100 in all modes

Mine has a fuselage canopy with a weight of 30 grams without battery - using the lectron pro 45C and e-flite 45C

Yeah it sure is...We'd chat on 75m amateur band every night while I was hauling US Mail across ND...

Haven't been active for years, so when I saw Pitt I thought I'd mention it...

Just tried to call him but no answer
