3 More nice easy flights on the Atom this morning. We are leaving for our property tomorrow and we want to get some aerial footage, sort of a "before" video to hopefully be followed up by consecutive "after videos of what will one day be the primary pasture.

After looking around the heli for a while we decided it was best to strap the Fuji Pixmax right to the front under the battery tray. Flying without a canopy made me a little nervous at first but after turning a few laps I put it through some paces to check the agility. Flight time and handling were not affected at all, and having the camera mounted under the heaviest part of the helicopter made the footage nice and steady. I know the atom isn't really meant for camera mounts and more for fun, but it's turned out to be quite the little work-horse for this project.

Can't wait to do the property survey.
