Hey Darrick, thanks for the video. That's crazy that was all the battery it took for. Just a quick confirmation on the BL855H, is this servo a 1520 servo? or 760? Thanks!

Sweet! We keep hearing coreless provides far less efficiency but far better performance in start stop speeds.

What's your feeling with these servos? Does it still hold true that coreless performs better?

Truthfully, I'm not sure I could provide a useful comparison, since I've been running either Futaba or Align brushless servos since 2011.

Last set of coreless servos I had were S9451s back in early 2011. So at this point, I'm very accustomed to the behavior of the brushless servos.

Given that these servos are not very power hungry, what capacity BEC do you or would you guys run on a HV setup?

i dont think this deserves a new thread so ill just ask here.

what is the difference between the BL800H and the BL815H??

the 815's look newer and better and are about 25 bucks cheaper??

same thing goes for the 850 and 855 tail servos??

im just confused here as to what align is trying to do? lol

Good job! I like it when someone can put the money where their mouth is!

I second the question on what people think a suitable BEC is?

I was planning on using a Heli Jive 120 on mine, the BEC is 5A continuous, 15 amps peak?

No, both servos are Brushless.

Spec wise, both servos are very similar. The 815's feature the shrouded servo lead, and a more competitive price.

I run mine at 285Hz using the CGY750.

I believe the servos are rated for 330Hz, but I have not tested the cyclic servos at this frequency.

Ok, I'm having issues with the tail gain with my VBAR which is currently set at 330 hz. Just wondering if I should try 250 Hz.

Thanks
