Yes I was doing plenty of track days for a 4 yr run or so and at one point I had a pretty sweet setup. Tire warmers were something of a trend and I was thrilled to be on board with all the other cool guys Truth is at my pace (non front of advance group) it was probably a little over kill, as long as you didn't try to go full tilt into corner one and let your tires come up to temp a little it would be fine.

Using a Champion 2000W. Runs my power supplies without hesitation! Running 2 Dell server supplies at 550W in series for 24V operation. I can also use them on 12V chargers also.

I started mine in 40F weather, and it started fine. Took a minute for it to warm up, tho....
