Well this doesn't make me feel confident in the 91h I just rebuilt..

Where are you guys buying these pistons from? I got mine from rcjapan.

Also when I assembled the motor, I put the piston into the sleeve ever so slightly (enough to seal the ring so that the pin would lock it from rotating) and then put the rod on the crankshaft. When I pushed the piston in most of the way I did have to turn the sleeve a tiny bit. If you wiggled the sleeve you could feel the pin stopping the ring from rotating, so I assumed all would be fine. The ring certainly did not slip over the pin. I feel like it would be nearly impossible to perfectly align the sleeve without having to turn it a few degrees to lock on the crankcase pin at the end. I tried a bunch of times and always had to turn it a tiny bit at the end.

Now you guys make me want to drop the motor and redo it all again.

That's great for the 105. The 91 piston I bought last month still had the old style hollow pin.
