Default 130x blades. Seems okay

I recently broke my tail boom, so I had to 'find' a new one. All of my 2mm Carbon rod from my old mcpx' booms were cut down to nano or nano stretch size, but I had this section of 3mm glass fibre rod.

I quickly fitted the 3mm gf rod into the 2.5mm slot by carving the ends, and locked them by carving a flat on the underside of the boom.

I threw on some 130x blades and it seems to handle really nice and floaty. I get noticeably less torque and flight times but it's still a lot compared to the 130x. I get 2min flights stretch vs 2:40 non-stretch.

DX9 collective travel is at 63% because I don't seem to need any more with these blades.

When I get within range of a hobby shop I will switch back for sure, but I gotta say, this thing is a lot more fun to fly than my 130x atm!

I don't know what type of flying you do, but try cutting your head speed back.
I just hover around, so the longer blades running slower works for me.

I'm more of a hard & fast pilot on this particular heli. I start out at 65% throttle, and I eventually flick it up to 100.
I prefer the mcpx blades over the 130's (more torque), but the added stability is nice too. I get smoother looking tail slides, and it doesn't bounce around the yard as much when I'm doing tic ticks.
It's more of a beginner cp now. Very stable. Not overly heavy like the 130x.

Mine's stretched with 130 blades, a Rakon head and frame, and a steel main shaft (i.e., heaver than stock) and I get a solid 4:30 of medium-hard flying at full throttle with Pulse 300 mAh lipos.

Well another factor is elevation. I live up in a mountain where the air is a bit thinner. I also run 200 mah stock lipos and I only run them down to 3.75v. I'm not sure how you're getting 4:30 of medium-hard flying.
