Red face Help for Fuel Clunk Tubing

Hi
i just got a Synergy and i have one question
Somebody know the length of the "Fuel Clunk Tubing" in the Fuel tank, because nothing is indicated on the manual.

The fuel line will expand after it gets wet with fuel so leave it at least a half inch from the end of the tank.

I just use standard dubro fuel tube for the clunk but before I install it I take about one foot of tubing and stretch the crap out of it. I usually stretch it until it looks like its going to break and then back off. This will make the tubing extra flimsy and with the clunk end on it you should have no problems with it flopping around in there. For the length you will have to try fitting it and then removing it to get the length you need. It usually takes me about three times to get it right. It's not too terribly difficult to remove the tank stopper and by using the standard fuel line it seems to hold up better than the common thin walled tubing that you commonly see designated for clunk tubing that comes with the kit. Take the extra time to get it just how you want it and you wont have to worry about it again for a long long time.
