Default Trex 500 within 30 Days

Well folks this may turn out to be fodder, but I am hearing from reliable sources (a field rep Align pilot) that the Trex 500 is going to be introduced "within 30 days".

Sure I may be wrong and this info could prove to be incorrect... but if I am right I want you to remember where you heard it first.

And to add more fuel for the fire... my LHS will be taking pre-orders shortly for it.

I know the 500 is close but I seriously doubt 30 days in my opinion (MY OPINION FOLKS)...
Don't get too excited... it may be 30 days from announce but it will take longer to fill the pipeline and get it main stream! The Trex600 took 5 months before us "regulars" could get one AND the parts to support it!

If Align does better this time COOL BABY! But as fast as they are it still takes some time from announce to a full pipeline....

Bob... totally hear ya.... actually I really pushed back hard on my LHS when they told me about this... especially since they plan on taking pre-orders very soon.

I, too, wonder about pipeline and availability.

I've been curious: Can anybody tell me the advantages of the 500 class helis compared to 450 and 600 class? Are they cheaper to repair than the 600s? Are they much more stable than the 450s?

Do you think any of the T-rex 450 or T-Rex 600 parts will be compatible with the T-Rex 500 What size batteries would the T-Rex 500 take?

They haven't posted a single pic of it, not one measily frame of video, not even a proper spec sheet with size, power system requirements, nothing concrete, just piles of speculation. I can speculate too: I don't see this happening for months and months. -Maybe- by x-mas. If they were that close you'd have seen "at least something" at ircha to get the real buzz going.

Default Of course

Of course the 500 will be announced within 30 days. I've been waiting for it, and finally gave up and bought a new 450SEv2 yesterday. If there's anything else people are waiting for, just let me know, and I'll go buy the smaller or not as good current version so it can be announced and you won't have to wait anymore. Damn, that always happens. Oh well, the SEv2 is sweet, I got a great deal, so I'm not too disappointed, hopefully the 500 will use the batteries from the 450, so the $300 I dropped on packs can transfer.
