Default Good Main Blades

Will these work or are they too long?

I know horizons are 245 these are 253.

Thoughts?

Different blade manufacturers measure blade lengths differently. Some measure tip to tip and others measure the length from the bolt-hole to tip. These Edge blades are nice blades and what I am personally running on my 300X right now. They're well balanced and look nice and I also feel they have a bit more pop than the stock wood or CF blades do. They are "slightly" longer than the stock CF blades but I haven't measured them. They are not "too long" to work properly in any event.

Although I've not personally tried either the Microheli or Gaui blades that fit the 300x and seem to also get good reviews, these blades and the SAB 255 blades work very well and I can recommend either of them over stock.

I haven't flown the Blade cfs, but I really like the way the Gauis perform.

Yeah, don't even bother with them! For the same price, the Gaui's kick their a** . Plus they look a lot better IMHO.

Honestly, the Blade CF's should be about $15 a pair...crazy that they charge 3x the price of the woodies for only a slight improvement.

Most of these should be $15-20, the MH blades are crazy priced too.

I am hoping that we will see similar quality and pricing for 300X blades as the Trex450 blades, you can get quite good CF blades for the 450 from under $10. HobbyKing to the rescue soon I hope.
