24v high wattage psu (single unit)
Are there any sellers who make 24v high wattage (1500-2000) single unit (not dual 12v) power supplies? I want to get on for a 4010 DUO.
Thanks

Something to keep in mind... the 4010 duo has a 50V maximum input voltage and a 65A maximum input current limit.
With the 65A maximum input current limitation, a 24V power supply is limited to 1560W max input power to the charger which will limit the charger to about 1320W of maximum charge output power. Also, at 65A input current the wires and connectors between the power supply and charger will become *quite* warm. If you look at the input voltage/amperage specs vs max charge output specs for the 4010 it's apparent it was designed around a 48V input. However, actually maxing out the 4010 in real life is difficult for users in the US because the limit that is usually encountered first is your standard 15A or 20A 120V household circuit. While somewhat expensive, I really like the Meanwell power supplies-- reliable, small, clean power output, very good APFC. I use the 2000-RSP-48 with my 4010 chargers, and while it's limited to about 1600W at 120V input that's enough to trip your typical 15A household circuit if used at full power for about 30 minutes. If you really want to stick with a 24V power supply the Meanwell 2000-RSP-24 will do the job as well. Being in the US it won't hold you back too much as the 65A input current limit on the charger (1560W) is also right at the maximum output of the power supply at 120V input. The 24V setup will run much hotter wires and connectors between the power supply and the charger than a 48V setup though. Since the Meanwell 2000-RSP-24 and 2000-RSP-48 are the same price IMO it makes more sense to go 48V-- unless you specially want 24V max for say compatibility with older chargers.

Kiba: I actually did a little more research after creating this thread, and went with the meanwell 48v which you just mentioned. Got it last night from progressive. :-) Been too busy to use it yet, soon hopefully.
Thanks guys

I use this 47A/24V PSU. Sure it's two stuck together but is one 'unit' to me.. come ready to go.

I use the Chargery 1200 for a home http://www.ebay.com/itm/131302535791...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
and a 12v/24v 1500w I made with two server power supplies when I'm out.
