Wiring on nitro
I no longer need my v3 on my electric & want to know if it can be used on a nitro machine. I'm using an arizona regulator & was thinking the deans from this could be plugged into the esc side of the v3 with the lipo of course going to the v3 battery. Sound right?

What are you hoping to record? I had thought that you would want to put the ET between battery and regulator. And that would then perhaps record the servo current draw, though I am unsure whether the HV circuitry on board the ET has the necessary resolution to monitor LV consumers. It may not show much at all. You could use it to monitor head speed, of course. I assume you have a hall sensor on your governor? Splice the signal cable into the ET. And then you could stick a temp sensor on the engine, I suppose. But that's about it - not an awful lot of use, really. I'd consider selling it.
BTW, how come you no longer need it on your EP bird? CC ICE? |

Yes, I'm now using an ice 100. I was hoping to monitor motor temp using the wrap around sensor ET sells, I figured it would work best on nitro since there would be no can spinning. I guess I'll sell it since I'm not interested in monitoring servo current etc.
