Local supplier doesn't have the 4530 replacement shaft.
Bought myself a 5030 shaft instead. Needed minor modification to fit.

Are you worried about boom strike using the lower head and shaft? I know you said Timo flew with the 600sx head and lower shaft. Last night i finished installing all these mods so i will keep my fingers crossed

I believe for speed run you should be fine.
If you are doing extreme 3D, best to stick to 690s blades.

Flight tests completed on chassis. Everything is holding well together . Time to install fuselage.

Very easy to install, everything just fits perfectly.
Love the German precision.

Wow looks like some heavy duty redundancy for the RX. Do you have any info somewhere on the internet about your radio gear on this bird? Are you just using Capacitors and a Scorpion backup guard and a BEC somewhere?

Mike

Hi Mike,

I am using the CC Pro Bec v3 as primary power supply. The Scorpion BUG is a backup and the Capacitors are recommended by Mikado when using with Savox servos.

Hi Gary,

Using Vbar Gov, 11t pinion on 5030 LE 540Kv Speed edition motor, I am running the following head speed via my JR11X which allows 5 selectable idle up:

1600
1800
2000
2100
2250

FFF feel is amazing, the heli is sleek and sliced through the air with ease. Today's 70km/hr wind gust does have an effect on the side profile and tends to push the heli sideways.

TommyBear,

That heli is sweet. I really don't want a 700 size heli but my desire for that Uvula body will probably win out. If I started with a 600SX kit,
http://www.readyheli.com/MIK2249-Mik...s_p_40712.html
and the Uvula body,
http://www.readyheli.com/MIK4752-Mik...E_p_41446.html
what else would be required to complete the airframe and body setup?

Hi Brad,

You will need the SE upgrade kit.
http://www.perthrc.com.au/logo-600se-upgrade-kit.html

The aluminium pulleys and tail belt driver are optional but highly recommended.

That's it. Make sure you heli flies perfect before you install the fuselage.

It is very visible in the sky, it is also so light you don't feel any differences on air performance

It is suitable for big air and speed flying style. I had 65mph winds today and it had no problems dealing with the gusts.

Cheers

Should I or shouldn't I ?
If anyone has this motor, your shared experiences are most welcome.

I love this motor and thats what i have right now, 12 S , 12 tooth pinion. Comes down cool, you can't beat Kontronik with effeciency and their built in fan in the motors are the best out there. Have it even rewound by Mauro can only be better.

I have a Pyro 6+7 YY 1.25mm. It kills the Logo OWB in just a few flights even on 603's.7
This is '3D' flying though, might be oK for speeding, might not. Very strong motor even in my 7Hv it hauled ass and that's go at least 2lbs on a 600SE.

If you are proficient with Auto's have at it. If not maybe avoid, would hate to see that Fuse trashed going in from a blown OWB / stripped Main Gear.
