REALLY helps to understand the relation of the bird to throttle and bird to pitch. Even if you aren't ready for 3D it helps basic concept of the performance of the bird. Thanks guys, what I never really could understand before has now become very clear.

You mentioned that you have just put together a kit, is that correct and if so is it difficult. I am no "techie " genius amd am thing of giving it a go.

I just put together a kit... and the best way I can describe it is like this... if you enjoy putting together jigsaw puzzles, then you will REALLY enjoy putting together a kit. If, on the other hand, you HATE putting together jigsaw puzzles, you probably will want to stick with the RTF (ready to fly) type helis. Putting a kit together yourself will help you to understand how they work (and how to fix them when you crash), but if you do not enjoy that facet of the hobby, then a kit will be a hassle for you in my opinion.

Thanks for the exolanation. From what I have read recently what you say is correct. I am not the type that loved lego as a kid and barely have a household tool to my name so I think I will give the kit a miss.

The only thing on my mind though is that my 13 year old may enjoy putting a kit together

thanks alot!!!! you do a very good job at explaining so someone can understand. i hope your video on pitch and throttle curve set up, stays on here for awhile, as i am new to all this, and im trying to set up my radio. the only difference is i have the jr x9303, and it has 7 curve points instead of 5, so it threw me off. but your video helped me understand.....

I have to agree, that's a great video, and I like how he showed the relation between him writing it on paper to how it relates to his Tx. Where can I find more of his videos? In particular to him showing how to do it on Spektrum controllers and cover the rest of the options? D/R, Expo, mixing, etc

Dragon, looks like i'm about to follow your lead. I think i'm getting a mCPX 2 very soon. I have already purchase the DX8. I was COMPLETELY in the dark with my TX. I was thinking I may have purchased to much of a radio for me. But then I saw this video from Bob. My god, talk about parting of the clouds and let the sun shine through.

You could have read this information until your blue in the face and still be very unclear. This video is a must see for all noobs.

I'm sure you get this a lot. But BOB THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME....

I'm new to this and have never set up
A heli before, but I've bought a Trex 600n 3d
With a 90size engine and am trying to work out best
Settings for a beginner, I've been reading other post
And have seen some suggestions but don't understand
The numbers people post.
If someone could post what they have programmed into
There futaba T6EX in the format the remote has it would
Be much easier for me 😝
