Default Kyosho Nexus 30 Value

There's a gentleman on eBay attempting to sell a Nexus 30 for $600. That's around how much I paid for the setup new in 1996. He's already relisted is once.

How much do you guys think is a fair price for it?

A guy on ebay was trying to sell a Mini Boy clutch for $179 LMAO.

I own a couple Nexus birds and with the motor I would say they are about $150 or less. They have such little monetary value to me,they aren't worth selling.

I personally don't believe that old birds are a collector's item. They are old tech without parts support that are one crash away from being a bunch of parts to sell on ebay and not very many people would want or need to buy.

I still fly mine because I have a few extra main gears and shafts but I would never buy a out of production bird to actually fly it.

That's pretty much how I feel about it.

I was looking around for one for nostalgia because that was my first heli, but I don't think that guy will get what he wants for it.

From the description, I don't think he knows it's that old.

I looked at the bird and it might be worth the price to the right guy. It is new, comes RTF. I've seen worse deals out there. I understand the emotional attachment to a guys first bird so I can understand wanting it again.

If youre still looking into one I know a guy selling one for 200 (I think). Fully built, motor and airframe never flown. If youre serious about it I can see if he'll ship.

150.00 is all I would pay for a nexus .... more if it was just the concept 30 series . He will keep that bird for a long time .
Basically old birds are for those of us that had them in the early days and want them for sentimental reasons .. So some will sell for more , the Nexus is not one of them
