Need More Stability. Suggestions?

Howdy.

I tried resetting to defaults and adopting some the of the posted settings as well. Not good enough for my taste.

I ended up just putting the 540 on the larger 600 heli and putting the BeastX on the 450 size. Despite all the tuning ability, it just gets down to taste I guess.

The Skookum 540 on the 600 is perfect at default Sport settings for my taste.

I prefer the CC Gov on that bird to the Skookum Gov because I can't get rid of spoolup abruptness with the Skoookum Gov. On the 450 I had the Skookum Gov engaged but the align esc in soft start mode so it smoothed it out.

My current fleet:
600ESP 12S Skookum 540, CC 160 Governed
Goblin 500 IKON, FBL Governed
Trex 500 Brain, FBL Governed
Trex 500 cc Talon 90 Governed, MiniVbar
Trex 450 CC Talon 35 Governed BeastX
Trex 450 Align esc, BeastX

The 450 just seems to feel the way i like on BeastX.

I have Beastx on my 450 stretch which is going to get Sk next week. Will see how it goes!

Its like the tail slider on the old FB helis (or any heli still)... you MUST have 100% of travel (ie limits... not limit your aileron to 7º) the flybarless unit takes care of the rest.. including limiting how much is used to get your desired control rates (roll, flip rates.. setup on computer)... You must not think of this as a flybar heli.

i have an sk540 on my x2 and last week i upped the hiller gain on the elevator only and its completely locked in and stable, so much so that i was able to do eye level tail down funnels with complete confidence and didn't have to adjust the angle at all it was just completely locked in

From what you wrote our flight styles are very differente: I use high rates (260-300) and high bell gains and I'm looking for a responsive heli. I also use high Hiller Decay (140-170) - which causes the heli to be less stable in hover for example.

So I'm not sure that is what you are looking for.

I will post after i dial it.
