Your wiring looks great. I remember you commented that you might want to move your esc to the side of the heli. Are you still thinking of doing that, or are you happy with it on the bottom? I was sorta unsure of whether it really made much difference.

Thanks again,
Greg
The reason I wanted to move the esc to the left side was to avoid having the battery wires come down through the hole in the bottom of the canopy. If the esc were on the side, the battery wires could come along the left side of the canopy and I could plug/unplug without lifting the model up. BTW, in case anyone is interested, I used a bicycle inner tube to make the insulation for the wiring around the zip ties. Someone posted about being careful of the ridges on the inside of the zip ties as they can work through the wires...what do I know? I just do what I'm told...just ask my wife!

Nice one only the wire rolled on the boom brace isn't the best idea since in case of crash it can get torn out of the tail servo.

Your wiring is simlar to what I believe I'll be doing except I'm planning to have the Rx pins facing the tail for easier access. Is there a reason you've got your pins facing the motor other than looks?

I think I did it that way so that I wouldn't have the wires coming around the back. One thing I did, what has made my life much easier, is attach a male/female servo wire to the batt conector of the receiver, and tuck the male end into the frame. This way, I can bind or attach a 4-AA power pack to the receiver without having to struggle with wedging the bind plug/servo wire into the receiver through the frame.

You can find wire sleeves at electronics stores or online at either ReadyHeli or HeliDirect. I recently went to home depot and they have small black zip ties that would be perfect for wiring.

Good job on the wiring but the landing gear usually goes on the other way, unless you like it like that.

Hey Kevin, you may wanna move your tail servo to the other side to add a little protection in case of a tail strike.
