Default Landing Gear for 5.5 stretch

6HV gear? Are they a drop in replacement? Do they raise the heli higher off the ground?

Yes, the will work but are significantly heavier than stock. I tried a set and went back to stock. I did however add a 6HV tail fin and canopy and I like it!

Can't be that bad. This thing is a Floaty McFloater now that I stretched it. A little weight couldn't hurt (much).

I use 6HVU struts and tail fin on my 5.5. 6HVU struts are more robust than the 500's and it also increases ground clearance.

Here is a pic with 5 LG and 6HV tail fin and canopy. I'm running 84.5 mm tail blades.

Only the 6HVU struts? The 500 skids fit?
