8fg piloting a full scale Boeing 727
If any of you watch the Discovery Channel Curiosity series tonight they showed a Boeing 727 being flown by a Futaba 8fg to intentionally crash the plane for survivability research it was a pretty cool setup. I guess when if comes to flying/crashing a $450,000 plane futaba is the radio of choice. Take that Spektrum j/k

If all they wanted to do was blow it up, they could've saved a lot of time and expense by just strapping a CC 120HV to the front of it.

I switched from spectrum to the 8fg , glad i did , great radio.
The preperation into that crash took 4 years and 4 million dollars to pull off. I bet they put alot of thought into the radio choice. I bought a logo 800 XXtreme and was nervious running on jr/spec Martin
