Here is the corresponding video from October (last warm days of flying). Hope you are not too disappointed, looks far less dramatic than the still. I just used the first few funnels as more would have been confusing because of overlapping. In the comp I also edited out landing mat, the slight skew and gopro- fisheye.

Murata Power Solution step-down is coming, so I hope to lighten the helicopter enough.

Those 160 mAh Hyperions give me 5 mins of full power flight.

I'm preparing to install linux?

That's amazing liftbag, I wish I lived close to someone like U that could teach me all that stuff. What do all the extra things attached to the board do?

Liftbag was doing monster bl setups before the market even existed. That's what it took to go 2s and BL back in the day:p

This is my MCPX. If you'll notice on the 4th pic that I drill 2 holes in the canopy in order to see the blue light. Gave it eyes! It use to have the CF landing skids but I broke them so went back to stock. Have some new KBDD ones on the way.

Thanks people. I almost did not remember this first experiment to make a 2S mCP X.

That huge board in front of the 3 in 1 was the switching bec. Time before discovering the lighter Murata step-down (thanks to Roffey).

The blades are great!!! Tough, cheap and fast. The second I put them on I could tell a instant difference. I like them. But once I go brushless they will prolly have to go. But I would definitely recommend them on a stock mcpx.

It flys good! I'm no pro but it seems just fine to me. The aluminum tail gives it a little more weight but seems to help with the balance. Thats a MIA canopy without the stickers.

After flying at dusk in the Aussie desert. Note the wild dingo pup in the background watching what's going on, there was also a second pup just to the right of frame. I was hesitant to fly to close as they were getting a little "too" interested
