160A HV coming soon

I want the 160HV for a G700, otherwise I'll have to fork out for Kontronic 160HV.

In my own Opinion, i don't need the WIFI-Feature and rahter had an lighter Opto ESC wich gov was as good as the 50/100V3..
But a i think a lot will like thes Feautres.

Whoah...that's really crazy stuff...but I don't like the built-in BEC idea..would much rather have an OPTO since I'm using a separate RX pack. I hope there will be a way to turn off the internal BEC. I do like the data logging and WiFi idea. Looks like it will be worth the wait.

Data logging, solid built in BEC, and wifi to pull the data without having to connect the plugs, Seems awesome!

It sounds very counter productive not to mention strange to have a built-in BEC on a large HV 160A ESC while offering a HV 80A ESC with no BEC...

Most people who have larger helis like to run separate RX packs because the larger helis have much more space and power to warrant those packs. Why would somebody want to run their own standalone BEC or a RX pack when using a 80A ESC? This is really stupid product strategy.

I guess HW are trying to copy Kontronik with their built-in BECs?

I've avoided using BECs altogether on my large helis due to the possiblilty of BEC failure not to mention I like to switch on my RX and gyro before plugging in the flight packs.

Hoping the 80Hv has an Internal BEC too, is there hard statement saying otherwise or just rumor?

In an email exchange with Hobbywing, they said they couldn't tell me when but it is definitely coming out this year.. "near the end" is all they would say.

Perhaps late Nov for December sales?
