Default Poll: Are you buying the Trex 700e?

Alright - who is going to take the plunge? I'm wrestling with the decision of flybar or not, and/or picking up an Avant 90e in addition to the 700e.

Well i have been hearing arround about the lack of quality of align and the difference between high quality materials and brands ...

But after i have seen some serious issues with some "Quality" brands, i will definately stay with align, and just use better electronics.

I have already an 700e for aerial photos, i am thinking of an 600esp or 700e for 3d...

My only concern is the 2 packs and the extra charging i will need...

On the other hand, esp does not have this great silver head and blocks, and this big size .........

I will wait till it goes out , see its issues and decide ....

I will buy the FBL 700E when it becomes available which I assume will be soon according to the rumor mill. I have been on the dark side with planes and will have an IMAC contest this weekend.

Wow - the FBL has quite a lead. I thought the flybar vs. flybarless would be much closer. Seems to be a vote of confidence in the 3G.

I'm only voting no because I can't afford it this year! I have two 600 ESPs, and probably would have done the 700 E if it was available last year.

Yep, will get one, but selling the 3G/servos/blades straight away and the motor.

Got vbar, BLS451/251, radix blades/kontronik motor and ESC ready to go in!

Will buy the 700E, but no idea which version.
Actually would prefer the 3G, because the flybar-version is too expensive.
Guess I should wait and see the issues and decide then.

Sticking with the KDE 700 conversion. You cannot beat how robust that setup is. Nothing Align manufactures will hold up to this CNC marvel. US made too!!

Default Yup!

Newbie to this site, lurking for quite a while and not new to RC Heli's. Definitely getting my hands on one FBL to replace my MA Tempest.

I've been flying an almost identical 700E for 2 months now. Heli-Chris 700E

I'll get a FB version of Align's new release, but in about 3 months when they're about 30% cheaper.

Remember this post. By July this year you'll be able to buy the fly-bar version for around $500.oo with the motor. FBL for around $850.oo and the parts will be EVERYWHERE......

I voted no because I think i got a deal cooking on a 12s 600 (not Align). I was get'n all excited about this one tho, nothing flys like a 700 E with all those ponies! I just cant swing the price right now, with moving, buying more furniture, etc. I will look forward to watching and drooling over them, as they will be many sold by IRCHA time.

Im in the process of building a KDE 700N conversion. I got the frame a while ago and finally finished purchasing all components. Last thing im waiting on is my ESC fromCastle. If i didnt go that route I would deffinetly be beating peoples doors down trying to get my hands on one of these 700E modles.

I ordered my 700 from my LHS -- so I expect it will be a little bit before I get it. I'm about a hair away from pulling the trigger on an Avant too (whenever they come out). It would be fun to fly them side-by-side, and that makes me feel better about trying the 3G FBL on the 700e (since I'd leave the flybar on the Avant).

What an exciting time for big electric helis!
