Now I'm starting to get it. Got it working tonight.
I did notice that different model receivers have different binding procedures too. This 2.4 stuff is completely new to me.
Sure is amazing how many options a guy has with it all.

Thanks again to everyone. Sometimes I just need someone to spell it out in English what I'm reading off Futaba manuals.

2.4 module in my 12FG to me is still a nicer radio than the 14. Wish Futaba would fill the gap between the 18 and the 14.

What features are you looking for that the 14SG does not have? How many channels do you use?
