SHE'S BACK BOYS! I've finally got all the parts & she's up & ready to rock. I've even treated her to a new shiny PYRO 750-50

I've also come up with a way to keep the canopy absolutely rigid on the heli by using a set of Rex500 & TSA Infusion canopy support/brace. Also added the Rex550 canopy clip as used on the bottom of their canopy to stop the SHAPE canopy moving up down.
With all this I have a rigid fitting canopy that should also reduce motor/gear noise resonance through the canopy. Man, I can't wait to have a blast with this new motor.

What do you guys like about the Jeti Mezon compared with other ESCs?

Seems like an interesting radio system though... I like the transmitter, but unwilling to part with my 12x...

Glad to hear! Looking great! On a side note, how do you like the Maniac blades? Those aren't available in the States, to my knowledge.

Well, since I'm not using the Jeti system yet, I can't comment on the telemetry aspects, but the Mezon works flawlessly for me. Its extremely easy to program and setup. I can't compare it to the jive, BC I've never used one, but it is less expensive and worth every penny IMHO. Im running one in my TDR and now my Shape.

For the flying I do (big sky sport & aspiring smooth 3d) they are the best so far, adequate lift, the right amount of forward speed as I do like to rip through off a nice big turn.
Flip & roll rates are also fast on these without having to crank up rates too much electronically.
And best of all, really really nice on autos. This all from trying various 690mm blades & radix 710 (FBL & FB versions)

Cool. I fly Rail 696's(716's on my TDR) on mine and was thinking about trying the Cyclone, but was curious about the Maniac's and the Beast X X Blades.

Tried some Cyclones on my Shape this past weekend. Flew well and didn't have and pitching up like I've seen reported elsewhere. I need to get a few more flights on them, but my first impression......I like my Rails better.

Ok, so seemore, after telling you not to sell you Shape, I'm thinking of getting rid of mine. I just love my TDR, and have ordered a second one, plus waiting for the new Henseleit speed model to come out. I may keep it, but the idea is getting tossed around.

DARN! It's definitely a keeper heli in my book & besides that I don't think Id get a buyer straight away over here in the UK. I'm planning on doing some fibre optic business next year in Jamaica for a couple of months and for that I will get rid of my Goblin (keep the electrics) & get a new Rex 550 DFC to take along for ease of transport & use. But I definitely will tuck my SHAPE away nice, warm & dry until I get back. By then the Avant Mostro should be out with all glitches ironed out

Its definitely a keeper, but for funds sake, it may be sacrificed. I stress may. My 4-5 month wait Insane canopy for it, will ship tomorrow, so I doubt the Shape will go any where, but its been thought about. That Mostro looks like a nice heli.

It does, and I do hope it's launch turns out being ok & doesn't follow the route the Aurora took when it was supposed to be released. ( fingers crossed)
Have you been flying lately? Just yesterday I spent the whole day at my flying club, man, that felt good. Haven't done that in a while. The pyro750 that's on the SHAPE is seriously rocking! It make the SHAPE feel & sound like a whole new Heli.
