Default Trueblood

So, after having bad luck getting my FX shaft to stay centered, regardless of dry or lubed dampers and blade balance, I decided to order a set of truebloods. I also know Jamie was using them, so they can't suck too bad.

I did a test fit with just the truebloods tonight since the OD seemed a touch small, and indeed it is too small. The fx shaft can be rocked just a touch while the dampers move slightly in the rotor housing. Once the single o-ring is in each side it will make it less notable, especially if the o's are on the outside.

Thoughts?

Is this desirable? Are we trying to create 2-stage damping like a TDR?

So... What to do? Part of me wants to get bigger washers to replace the thin black plastic spacers and put siliconed-up o rings back in to try and smooth it out. Part of me wants to try the bloods.

I did what others recommended...
Trueblood dampeners (for Logo 600) on the outside. 1 hard o-ring on the inside. Double up on the plastic spacer on each side. It's been working great for me so far.

Dd you try it with the stock extra hard dampeners, with two plastic spacers instead of one? I had my dampeners pop out, so I changed them out and used the extra spacer, no more problems.

"So, after having bad luck getting my FX shaft to stay centered, "

I had the same problem with mine.

KBDD Lime Greens with two KBDD spacer washers on each side of the head, fit like they are made for the Logo (two washers in the head pocket first, then the damper (greased with silicone grease), then the normal Mikado washer, then the blade grip.

No more feathering shaft sliding back and forth after many flights-no O-rings required.
